We have a private hot tub steps away from the king size bed in masterbedroom. There are also several outdoor & indoor local pools nearby. Including some very populat natursl swimming holes. This is the perfect location to take in all that Vancouver has to offer!

We are very lucky to live on the North Shore of Vancouver just a short distance one way to an outdoor enthusiasts paradise and a short distance the other way to all a first class city has to offer (dining, shopping, theatre etc).
Skiing / snowshoeing/ hiking: Seymour Mountain (10mins - downhill & X country, snowshoeing, hiking), Grouse Mountain (15mins - Downhill, Snowshoeing, Hiking,) and Cypress Mountain (25 mins - hiking, downhill skiing)
Ride the famous North Shore mountain bike trails: XC and Downhill trails to test the best or bring smiles to any intermediate rider on Cypress, Frome, Seymour Mountains.
The world class resort destination of Whistler is just 90 mins drive away - easily accessible for a day trip to enjoy numerous winter or summer activities (see www.whistlerblackcomb.com)
Beaches / Boating - 10 mins to Horseshoe bay boat rentals to explore Howe Sound and numerous North Shore Beaches or rent from Granville Island to explore downtown and English Bay. BC Ferries leaves from Horseshoe Bay taking you to the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island or Vancouver Island.
Golfing - there are a large variety of courses in and around Vancouver and 3 in Whistler; enough to challenge the most avid golfer.
Vancouver is well know for it's variety of cuisine offered in its restaurants located on the North Shore or a short drive over the Lions Gate bridge for access to the down town restaurants.
Enjoy the local communities of Dundarave and Ambleside, walk on the beach or seawall then take a break in one of the many cafes and restaurants. Come during August and enjoy the Harmony Arts Festival a community based festival to celebrate the performing and visual arts. If you are feeling adventurous walk pool 99 is a 10 minute walk up riverside drive or try Lynn Canyon for some fresh water swimming holes
Downtown Vancouver is just 15minutes drive away! Visit the many museums, theatres and other attractions or see the Vancouver Symphony play. Watch the whales in the Vancouver Aquarium, take a leisurely bike ride around Stanley Park, spend a rainy day in the Vancouver Art Gallery or the BC Museum of Anthropology.
